I am a licensed psychotherapist with over twenty-five years experience in the mental health field. I work with teenagers and adults, short-term (for a few sessions) up to long term (for years), according to your goals. I use a variety of strategies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (a focus on how our thoughts impact our feelings and actions) and Mindfulness (bringing attention to the patterns in our lives as they unfold moment by moment). Since 2006 I have specialized in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I also run a mindfulness training group for beginners that you can learn about using that tab. Right now that group is focused on using mindfulness skills to manage the transition to a Trump presidency.
